It's a boy! Well at least that was the second guess. I had a newer tech doing my ultrasound. She had a guy in there observing her. It took over an hour. Anyway, she asked of we wanted to know the sex of the baby. Of course we said yes. She said it was a girl. When she said that it just didn't feel right to me. I just knew that they were going to tell me it was a boy, I just felt that was what I was having. Because of the way the baby was positioned they had trouble seeing the heart. She then asked another tech to come in and help. When she came in she asked if we knew the sex and I told her they said it was a girl. I could see her looking and she kept turning around looking at the other 2 in the room. I said "it's a boy isn't it." All of them said "oh yeah, that's a boy." They were all in agreement that it is a boy. I guess we'll find out for sure soon enough!
The report did come back that his kidneys are dilated. Same thing that Ava had when I was pregnant with her. I have to go for another ultrasound around 30 weeks. They are going to look closer at all the pictures and if need be they will call me in sooner. Hopefully it will work itself out just like Ava's did.
